What references will I need?
Flatline will ask for at least two forms of identification: one photographic form, and another to verify your current address. You may use a current passport, driving licence, bank statement, a utility bill that is no older than 3 months.

Who do I speak to if I have a problem with my tenancy?
If you are experiencing problems with your tenancy, simply call Flatline where we can help resolve any issues you may have.
How can I pay my rent?
Your monthly rent can be paid either through a standing order, bank transfer, over the phone or in the office. Please be aware that any payments made via a credit card, a charge of 2.5% will be issued to the account holder.
How do I serve notice to vacate my property?
In accordance to your contract, after your fixed term has ended you can give notice up to one month, this being in writing expiring on a rent day.
Will the landlord accept housing benefit?
Not all of our landlords will accept tenants on housing benefit, but those that do will only accept on the proviso that the potential tenants have a guarantor to guarantee their rent should any problem arise in the future.
Are pets allowed?
In general, pets are not allowed at the property due to potential infestation, however, in some cases the landlord may agree depending on the size and species of pet. Whenever searching for properties, always check first before signing any agreement that pets are allowed.
What happens to my deposit?
Flatline has a legal responsibility to safeguard your deposit within a government authorised deposit protection scheme. We do this within 30 days of receiving your deposit. This will then be paid back to you at the end of your tenancy, less any agreed deductions.
What do I do if I have an emergency and it is out of hours?
If you find yourself needing to get in contact with us outside normal working hours, and it is an issue that cannot wait till the next day, you may call our emergency number. Please be advised that charges will incur if this happens. In the event of an emergency it is always best to call the emergency services.
